Marcelo was very nice and accommodating the a/c wasn’t working he provided the fan and was very helpful.

We liked the fact that the hotel in San Telmo was ideal for the activities that were near to the hotel. The venues we did find were very vibrant indeed, especially the Red Door club. The local eateries and other establishments in San Telmo were really welcoming. The Market was brilliant for food and we enjoyed a lovely steak sandwich break at the parilla in the market which was also great value for money and very tasty indeed.

The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The building was safe and secure. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was soft and comfortable. The patios--many patios--were attractive and pleasant to spend time in. An empty in-room refrigerator helped us store snacks. A water bottle was given as an arrival gift and we were encouraged to refill it as often as needed from a chilled water dispenser on the main floor. We cooled off in the rooftop pool. The tables in the breakfast area are available for guests to use during the day. There was even a library with windows overlooking the street. Wonderful and historic location for exploring Buenos Aires.

The location was very good and close to many of the attractions and events in San Telmo. The staff was very professional and at the front desk everyone was helpful and took care of any immediate needs. Breakfast was consistently good with a variety of choices and the breakfast was outstanding and kept the area neat and clean. The housekeeping staff was very thorough and on time.

The reception/breakfast area nicely decorated with modern paintings and pieces of artwork. The staff very caring and helpful. We spent 7 nights altogether and enjoyed it very much. The patios are great to linger on , enjoy some vino and meet other fellow travelers. The front desk guys will arrange airport transfers at reasonable rates , local taxi , etc . Be cautious with Mauro though , he tried to trick me into getting an expensive transfer to the ferry terminal, regular taxi costs a fraction of " transfer " service .

The staff was truly excellent! We were checked in by the most friendly, welcoming, and cheerful Attilio, who settled us in and helped us with our inquiry for the sightseeing. Marcello helped us with the heating in the room. And Alberto the front manager made sure we were looked after by the team. Georgina the weekday breakfast lady was friendly and caring. She did not just do her work but made sure we were well taken care of every morning with her. The cleaning ladies were also friendly and courteous. The room was spacious and well decorated. Lots of storage space too. The bathroom was also very spacious. The breakfast room was also pleasant. A coffee machine is provided for the guests to use. There was also a very nice sitting room/library on the mezzanine floor. The location is terrific. Right in the middle of the old town Sal Telmo. Several shops and eating places around. Close to the Market. And close to a subway station.

Staff most helpful. Great walkable location for site seeing. Near bus lines. Secure lobby. They held our luggage after we checked out. Safe in room. Very clean. Good shower. Breakfast offered Eggs “made to order” , but otherwise breakfast was standard fare.

a) Location - walking distance to all the main highlights in the San Telmo area: restaurants, Sal Telmo market, Feria San Telmo, tango shows, Mafalda statue, El Zanjon de Granados etc b) Reception staff were friendly and helpful, especially Marcello who is able to accommodate our date changes without fuss c) Large rooms - we stayed 8 nights in 3 rooms (204, 214, 208) d) Nice seating areas outside the rooms

Beautiful old building which has been tastefully decorated. Lovely rooms and the queen sized beds are incredibly comfortable! Good location with bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Having the pool is lovely, even though it’s only small.

Quiet accommodation in San Telmo, and only a couple of blocks away from the San Telmo covered market and Plaza Dorrego. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Staff were helpful especially the older gentleman on reception, who helped me with ATM locations, a SUBE card and ordering taxi's to La Boca and Retiro bus station. Area felt safe if taking usual precautions. Breakfast was OK. Bed comfortable and room clean. The metro is also close with lines to Plaza de Mayo but I also walked there in 15/20 minutes Would stay here again.
